Society for Information Technology (I.T.), Kendujhar shall operate throughout the District of Keonjhar.
At/Po- Keonjhargarh Town, P.S.-Town, Dist. Keonjhar.
The rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the provisions laid down hereunder and in case of complicacies shall be dealt as per the provisions of Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.
In these rules, unless the context unless requires -
Aims and objectives of the Society To constitute an umbrella organisation which will integrate all the IT related activities of the district. The Society will also ensure that there remains a thread of continuity in this field for all times to come and progress continues uninterrupted.
Name, address, designation, occupation and signature of the members of the Executive Body.
Rules and regulations of Society for Information Technology (I.T.), Kendujhar, Dist. Keonjhar.
The Society for Information and Technology, Kendujhar has been established in the year' 2000.
The Registered Office of the Society for Information Technology (I.T.) shall be located at Keonjhargarh Town, Dist. Keonjhar and may be shifted to any other place in Keonjhar District as the Executive Body may decided from time to time.
The scope and activities of the Society for Information Technology (I.T.) shall be extended to the areas within the District by approval of the General Body Meeting of the Society.
Any person, who has attained the age of 18 years and pays a membership fees of Rs. 100/- only would be entitled to be a member for one year.Any person who pays membership fees of Rs. 1000/- only would be entitled to be a member for life. Membership would be irrespective of Caste, Creed or Sex.
The following office bearers of the Society for Information Technology (I.T.) Kendujhar shall constitute the Executive Committee.
The Executive Body members will be elected by the General Body and their terms of office will be one year.
He shall be the head of the Society. He shall preside over all the meetings of the Society according to the accepted parliamentary procedure. The Chairman shall have power of supervision and overall control of the affairs of the society. The Chairman in addition to his/her regular vote shall caste another vote in case of tie. When a lady would be elected as the Head of the Society, then she would be designated as Chairperson. An emergency Executive and General Body meeting can be convened by the Chairman whenever it is required.
He or she shall be the chief functionary of the Society. The Executive Secretary would be the focal point of the Society and be considered as the managerial and administrative head of the Society. He or she should play the most important role in the Society to achieve its goals and can take appropriate action(s) in this regard. The Executive Secretary is responsible for keeping all the related papers of the Society. He or she would assist the Chairman in conducting the meeting by means of providing directorship and taking care of the document action.
The Treasurer shall be in-charge of the funds of the Society.He will place the financial position of the Society before the Executive Body and Annual General Body Meeting, prepare the financial report and budget of the Society and place it before the Executive Body and Annual General Body Meeting. Also discharge such other functions pertaining to financial matter of the Society. The Treasurer shall receive and have charge of all money of the Society. He/she shall collect all fees, dues and donations received and make all disbursements. She or he shall deposit the funds of the Society in any bank that is approved by the Executive Body in the name of the Society. He/she shall submit the financial statement to the Executive Body as and when required from time to time. He or she shall be responsible for maintaining accounts, account books, bank books, cash and bank credits, investment certificates etc. and produce these for inspection and audit, whenever asked to do so by the Executive Body. He/she shall arrange for annual Audit by an authorized Accountant/ Auditor as determined by the Executive Body.
Functions of other Executive Body members The other members of the Executive Body excluding office bearers shall discharge such powers and functions as may be delegated to them individually or jointly by the Executive Body.
Annual list of Office Bearers Once in every year of the names, address, age, occupation, designation and signature of the members of the Society for Information Technology including Executive Body shall be filed to the Registering Authority.
An annual General Body Meeting will be held in the month of March every year.
A quorum shall consist of the attendance of 1/3rd of the members of Society for Information Technology (I.T.), Kendujhar.
The account of the Society for Information Technology (I.T.) shall be audited by a qualified Auditors/ Chartered Accountant.
Any amendment in the Rules and Regulations, if made in future, will be duly intimated to the Registering Authority.
Upon dissolution of the Society for Information Technology (I.T.),Kendujhar, it's assets will be handed over to a similar Registered Society or to the Government after clearing of its debts and liabilities.
The Executive Secretary be in-charge of all movables and immovable properties of Society for Information Technology (I.T.),Kendujhar. The Executive Secretary and Chairman can jointly acquire and dispose off the immovable properties.
The Society for Information Technology (I.T.), Kendujhar shall sue or be sued in the name
of the Executive Secretary in proper Court of Law. ~~*~~ |
