Is hereby authorized by the undersigned, Collector, Keonjhar to open a shop at in the

Of Keonjhar District for the retail sale of Potable Foreign Liquor from the date of the licence to the 31st March,198

It is required of he holder of this licence, as a condition of this licence remaining in force, that he duly and faithfully perform and abide by the following articles and the general conditions applicable to all Excise Licences.

  1. That he pay to Govt. an annual fee of Rupees…………… only at the time of engaging to take this Licence That he pay the same into the Treasury at

  2. That he do not sell, under colour of this Licence, any country spirit.
  3. That he sell under this licence the following kids of foreign liquor only, Beer, Wines, liquors, Brandy, Whisky, Gin & Rum (either imported or manufactured in India) and that under this licence he do not sell uncompounded plain spirit or rectified spirit.
  1. That he do not Salter the nature of the liquor or the tabels under which he has purchased it.
  2. That he do not sell whisky, Brandy, Rum or Gin at a lover strength than 25 degree under London proof.
  3. That he do not store any foreign liquor to be sold under this licence in any PREMISES other than those named herein without previously obtaining the written sanction of the Collector on the reverse of the licence.
  4. That he do not under colour of this licence sell foreign liquor to any person at one time in a quantity(a) exceeding the limit of retail sale fixed under section 5 of the B & O. Excise Act 1915 and not less than one Nip bottle of the quantity of 180 ML.
  5. That he do not allow any liquor to be drunk premises.
  6. That he do not sell or deliver any spirit to any person apparently under the age of twenty one years whether for consumption by such person or by any other person and whether for consumption on or off the premises.
  7. That in the event of his also holding a "sale to trade" or any other description of licence for the vend of foreign liquor he keep the account of sale under each licence separate and put up a separate sign board for each.
  8. That the retail sale of foreign liquor is permitted in the licensed premises from 9 AM to 10 PM throughout the whole year.
  9. That he do correctly submit to the Superintendent of Excise on the expiry of every month a statement in Form No.F.L. 18 showing all particulars mentioned therein.
  10. That the licensed premises for retail sale of foreign liquor shall remain close on the 2nd October and all the licence premises for retail sale of Foreign Liquor shall remain closed for three days i.e. on the day of polling and two days proceeding it such days having been specially declared as "DRY DAYS". No compensation under Rule 129 shall be payable to holder of any Exclusive privilege for such closure.
  11. That he must display in his shop the price list of Foreign Liquor of different verities of different brands including Beer.
N.B.- The violation of any of the above conditions or of the general conditions applicable to Excise vend licenses will render this licence liable to be cancelled and the holder here of liable to the penalties prescribed by Law or Rule.
