Keonjhar district is dominated by tribal
population covered by hills & forest and natural barriers. A lot of development are
yet to be undertaken. Some of the essential needs of the district are enumerated in
following lines.
If you want please help. Any
help ear- marked for a particular purpose can be routed through the I.T. Society, Keonjhar
or may be sent directly to the agency concerned under intimation to the I.T. Society. This
Society will ensure qualitative and quantitative result on your help. The contact

The
areas in which your assistance is welcome are the following:
- We
want to provide Computers to all Gram Panchayat head-quarters to provide linkage between
the rural people to the outer World.
- Most
of the Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools and High Schools need Class Rooms, reading
writing materials, compound walls, repair grant to ensure qualitative education.
- Most
of the Villages need improvement of Rural Roads, C.D. Works and All Weather Roads to
District head-quarters.
- For
better Child care and health care of tribal Women and Community assistance can be provided
through Chief District Medical Officer, Keonjhar or through I.T. Society
- For
any other development work the I.T. Society, Keonjhar can be trusted.
- A
number of tourist places like Sanghagara Water Fall, Khandadhar water Fall, Handibhanga
Water Fall temples like Maa Tarini at Ghatgaon, Shree Baladev Jew temple at Keonjhargarh,
Maa Sankata Tarini premises at Sana Masinabilla, Sidhamatha at Keonjhar and Gonasika needs
assistance for improvement. The culture heritage of Keonjhar needs to be strengthened.
Any
assistance for this purpose may be channelised through I.T. Society or through the
District Culture Counsil, Keonjhar.
- For
improvement or Rural Sports like Football, Sports, Archery, Handball, Swimming etc. the
local Tribal people need encouragement.
Any
financial assistance for this purpose, may be sent through I.T. Society or through the
District Sports Officer, Keonjhar.
You
may choose the area in which you would like to contribute by choosing the block, Gram
Panchayat and the village from the following list. In case, you have no special
preferences, all contributions may be sent to the above mentioned addresses.

requested for keeping the name confidential.
