PRESS CLUB, KEONJHAR

 

         Press Club, Keonjhar was set up in the year 1968 and it was got registered on 27.04.1968 vide Regd. No 5357/31 of 1968 under Registration of Society Act XXI of 1860. At that time following persons were office bearers.

Secretary Bimbadhar Mishra
Joint Secretary N. Mohapatra
Treasurer R. N. Singh

 Besides there were three members excluding office bearers whose name are given below.

         The office bearers have been changed in due course of time as per law.

         Now the Press Club is functioning in the “PRESS ROOM” provided by the District administration in the premises of the Collectorate, Keonjhar which has been inaugurated on 04.07.1994 by the then Collector Shri Jagadananda Panda. 

         The Press Club has its own land of AC. 0.03 at Pabitradiha, Keonjhargarh Municipality in Plot No-136/1, Khata No-1 (Lease deed No.1517/Year1975). 

         The Press Club, Keonjhar has been provided with Fan, one B/W T.V., 2nos. of table and 15 nos. of chair by the District administration.
